TARA DENLEY
Ph.D. Student | Parks, Recreation & Tourism Management
Tara’s hometown is Chattanooga, Tennessee where she worked to put herself through undergrad at UTC. Tara jumped at the opportunity to work as a research technician at UGA’s College of Veterinary Medicine, so she could enroll in UGA’s Tuition Assistance Program and work full-time while going to graduate school part-time. Tara’s research interests include the human dimensions of natural resources, ecotourism, and global citizenry in study abroad students. When Tara is not at UGA, she can be found having a heat stroke in hot yoga, playing with her rock collection, or strolling her beloved hairless cat down the sidewalk.
