Zach was born and raised in Dunwoody, Georgia, and spent a great deal of time growing up in Dallas, Texas. Zach studied Sociology and Criminal Justice at the University of Georgia. After interning with the US Fish and Wildlife Service & the National Park Service, Zach decided to return to the University of Georgia seeking a Masters of Natural Resources, which he attained in 2018. Zach has begun a Manager In Training (MIT) program with Georgia State Parks at Stephen C. Foster State Park.
